About Us
Ride Fit delivers a comprehensive riding and fitness program operated by professional 1.15m rider Rebecca Munoz. Her vision is to establish exceptional equine and equestrian athletes, with a focus on horse husbandry and quality care. Ride Fit strives to motivate horse owners to learn what their horse is trying to convey.

Like many equestrians, her desire for involvement with horses started at a young age. Raised in Markham, Ontario, she was tenaciously working, riding, and smiling at the barn.
Certified by Equine Canada, she graduated from the Olds College Equine Science program, majoring in coaching in 2012. Shortly after moving to Calgary, Rebecca was able to break her way into the industry and started her own business, Ride Fit. Rebecca's career dream is to run a riding academy which combines her two passions of horses and health into a unique "Ride Fit " program. Utilizing her expertise as a Canfit Pro Fitness Instructor Specialist to incorporate physical conditioning as an integral part of student’s curriculum and development.

In addition, Rebecca is a registered Equine Canada Rider Level Evaluator. The Learn to Ride program, as part of Long Term Equestrian Development (LTED) is the backbone of Ride Fit’s program. It provides structure for the development of a rising student. The Learn to Ride Program has served as a great guideline and way to monitor progress for coaches and students.
It is vital as a professional in the equine industry that coaches meet a certain standard of excellence. Meeting these standards as part of being certified validates their credentials entirely. Clients are assured that as a certified coach, they will deliver a program that provides safe and thorough progression.
Rebecca’s commitment to the equine industry as a coach encompasses continual growth and personal development. To deliver both traditional and up to date methods to students, her coaching education, expertise advances every year.

During 2019, she traveled to Spain to study Classical Dressage.

2022 Sunset Valley Stables Dressage Show Season Champion aboard " Classy Cassie" owned by Tania Edmunds.

2022 Equine Judge for the Calgary Stampede Royalty Committee for Stampede Princess.

October 2022- March 2022 was spent riding in California and competing young showjumping sales horses at the Desert International Horse Show Park.

“I reap tremendous reward and fulfillment from sharing my understanding of horse care and communication. The more I learn, the more in depth I can teach. This ensures pupils persevere and do not plateau”.
